Atlanta’s market is expanding greatly and the need for public transportation is on rise. Trackside Chamblee is part of MARTA’s new expansion plan for the Chamblee MARTA station. MARTA also has projects planned near other stations for mix-use facilities. This project however, is Chamblee’s first class A office and transit development geared towards today’s professional industry.
What exactly is Trackside Chamblee? Since mixed use facilities are the new trend to maximize space, Trackside Chamblee is the redevelopment project that has been awarded to Parkside Partners. It is also a joint venture with Pattillo Industrial Real Estate and will feature two phases. Phase one will offer 15,000 sq.ft. for office spaces along with retail. Both phases combined will offer 80,000 sq.ft. for office spaces and 13,000 sq.ft. for retail spaces.
Trackside Chamblee will be located adjacent to the Chamblee MARTA station. It will also offer exciting restaurants, entertainment spots and shopping in addition to the office park area. The idea is to create a working environment where professionals can commute easily with public transportation. Yet, it will also have the urban feel and amenities to offer a thriving work/after-work lifestyle. Locals will also benefit with the ease of walking to restaurants and retail shops. How magnificent!
